As the largest employer in Central NY, SUNY Upstate Medical University is improving the health of the community through education, research and health care.
The RF manages SUNY’s research portfolio assisting SUNY faculty, students and staff through every step of the research grant process, allowing them to focus on their work and ensuring compliance with SUNY, grant sponsor and government requirements.

CNY Biotech Accelerator (CNYBAC) is operated by academic medical center, Upstate Medical University, located in Syracuse and is a NYS Certified Business Incubator which rents specialized wet lab and administrative space to accepted innovators commercializing a biotech-related product or service.

Excell is an affiliate of the University of Rochester. It came about through a unique partnership in 2006 between the University of Rochester and New York State Empire State Development
